God-Knows-WhereBear is PocketBear’s remote branch!

We are expanding into…god knows where! While continuing to bring you live performance inside, no matter what the world looks like outside.

Using our website, YouTube page, and social media pages, we hope to provide an environment similar to the one we all know, love, and miss: THEATRE, always living, always alive.

While theatre as we know it is on Pandemic Pause, and while physical presentation locations may be shut down across the country, we at PocketBear know this is only temporary. Like you, we are really looking forward to the revival. Until then…we’re continuing our work and our mission: producing theatre in all its forms and making it available to as broad a spectrum as possible.

So we hope you’ll enjoy all of this remote work we’ve done and are continuing to do. And thank you all for your support and encouragement during these absurd times.

OverHeard ~ A New Audio Play

Conversations between two individuals may (or may not) be what you thought to think. So much can lie beneath the surface, twisting, sometimes with the wind. Sometimes without. OverHeard is a new audio play from PocketBear - listen to it with headphones to get the full experience.

The Jane Monologues

When age creeps in, how do you cope? How do others cope? “The Jane Monologues” allows one woman (Polly Adams, "We Need To Talk About Kevin," "United 93," courtesy of SAG-AFTRA) to explore and speak about thoughts that often go unexpressed. This virtual production, directed by Anthony Caruso, from the full-length play Accommodations (by Robert Moulthrop), takes a hard look. It’s the day of the move to the new, classy assisted living facility, and Jane pauses to reflect on herself, her family, her friends, her life. And what it means to be alive.

At the moment … In the moment … Still. And breathing.
